Slickman, a.k.a. Prof. B. G. Bragg, is hosting once again with this edition
of Comix Corner. He's a full-time teacher at the college--and a part-time superhero.
He's also a descendant of the man this institution of higher learning is named after.
That may explain how he was able to get tenure, since he seems to take a lot of sabbaticals.
Off fighting crime, I suppose. Well, Indiana Jones took a lot of time off, too, it
seems.
In class, he likes to spend an inordinate amount of time in his history
classes regaling his students with his latest exploits--such as they are. One of
these has become known as "The Lady and the Tiger Caper." Hey! Sit down
at your desk and get quiet. Let Dr. Bragg tell it for himself. By the way, "Bobcats"
refers to the school's mascot at Braxton Bragg State College. Shhh, hurry up and
take your seat; he's already started . . . .
Watch for the continued adventures
of Slickman/Prof. Bragg and the other denizens of good ol' BSC, the college that
was named after who was considered by many Civil War historians to be the worst general
the South had, Gen. Braxton Bragg, and this was the side that got most of the great
generals and West Point graduates! That's how they were able to last as long as they
did against the North, don't you know? Would I lie to you?
